The addiction crisis demands systemic change to address root causes and improve the lives of Indiana citizens. Indiana's state government has enacted a number of policies to decrease the number of overdoses in the state, expand treatment, and offer aid to those suffering from addiction. Recovery isn’t immediate, and it will take years before the full effects of these policies are realized, but the state is making strides in addressing some of the large issues related to addictions that are facing its citizens.
